2. A dog is the perfect exercise partner. They’ll never complain about going for a walk or run, and they’ll always be happy to play fetch (or whatever game you want to play). Exercise is important for both physical and mental health, and having a dog will help you make sure you’re getting enough.

3. A dog can make you feel safer in your own home. Their barking will alert you to any strangers who come close, and their presence will deter burglars and other criminals.

4. A dog will be incredibly loyal to you and your family. They’ll always be there for you, no matter what. And their love is unconditional – they’ll never judge you or hold anything against you.

For me there are no cons but then again as I mentioned earlier I have loved, owned, and worked with dogs most of my life. I guess if I had to come up with one it would be vet bills and food. But even those two things I don’t really think of as cons because they are just a part of dog ownership.

Some people might say that having to walk a dog is a con, but I would argue that it is actually a pro. Walking is great exercise for both you and your dog. It’s also a great way to explore your neighborhood and meet new people.

Another pro of having a dog is that they make great security systems. They will bark when someone comes to the door or tries to break into your house. This can help deter burglars and keep you and your family safe.

Dogs also provide companionship and unconditional love. They are always happy to see you, no matter what kind of day you’ve had. They are also great listeners (even if they don’t always understand what you’re saying).

How Many Hours A Day Should You Spend With Your Dog?
