We all know that dogs are man’s best friend. But did you also know that they make great bed warmers? On cold winter nights, there’s nothing better than snuggling up with your furry friend to stay warm.

Not only will your dog keep you toasty, but sleeping with them can also have some health benefits. Studies have shown that people who sleep with their dogs tend to have lower stress and anxiety levels. And what’s not to love about waking up to a wagging tail and a big smile?

So next time you’re feeling chilly, invite your dog into bed and enjoy the warmth!

3. Why Dogs Should Sleep On Our Beds – Relieve Stress

For me, they are like 4-legged psychiatrists. I’m never stressed out when my dogs are around.

In fact, I feel more relaxed and at ease.  And studies have shown that people who sleep with their pets have lower blood pressure and longer, deeper nights of sleep.

So if you’re looking for a way to relieve stress, why not let your furry friend join you in bed?

Not only will you both benefit from the extra cuddles, but you’ll also get to enjoy all the other wonderful benefits that come from owning a dog.

And, of course, there’s always the added bonus of never having to sleep alone again!

Also, there’s nothing like coming home to a wagging tail and a furry friend who is just happy to see you. Dogs can help relieve stress and tension, and they make great listening ears if you need to vent.

We all know that dogs are man’s best friend. But did you know that they can also be excellent bed partners? That’s right – letting your dog sleep on your bed can actually help reduce depression.

There are a few reasons for this. First, dogs provide us with companionship and unconditional love. This can be extremely helpful if we’re feeling down or lonely.

Secondly, dogs require us to take care of them, which gives us a sense of purpose and responsibility. And finally, simply petting a dog has been shown to lower blood pressure and reduce stress levels.

So if you’re feeling down, why not let your furry friend join you in bed? It just might be the best decision you ever make.

Spending time with a dog has been shown to reduce symptoms of depression. Dogs provide us with companionship and unconditional love, which can be incredibly beneficial for people struggling with mental health issues.

I always get a great night’s sleep, and I know that is because my English Mastiff Saffron always sleeps on my bed at night.

Some people might be hesitant to have their dogs sleep on their beds because they think it is unsanitary, or they are afraid of getting bitten. But if you train your dog properly, there is no reason why they cannot sleep on your bed. There are even some medical benefits to having your dog sleep on your bed!

One benefit of having your dog sleep on your bed is that it can help relieve anxiety and stress. If you have a busy life and are constantly worrying about things, coming home to your dog can help you relax.

Seeing them sleeping peacefully can help you feel calmer and more relaxed. And when you feel more relaxed, you are more likely to fall asleep easily and have a restful night.

Another reason why dogs should sleep on our beds is that it can help relieve pain. If you suffer from chronic pain, having your dog next to you can help you feel more comfortable and ease some of the pain. Dogs emit a calming frequency that can help reduce pain and inflammation.

So if you are looking for a better night’s sleep, consider letting your dog sleep on your bed! It could do wonders for your health and well-being.

Dogs are always down for a cuddle, and their hugs can do wonders for our mental and emotional health.

There are plenty of reasons to let your furry friend sleep on your bed. For one, dogs make great cuddle buddies. They’re always down for a snuggle session, and they don’t mind if you drool on them a little bit.

Plus, dogs can help keep you warm at night. If your partner steals all the covers, just cuddle up to Fido instead. He won’t mind, and he might even give you a few doggy kisses in return.

But the main reason why you should let your dog sleep on your bed is that it can actually help you get a better night’s sleep. Studies have shown that people who share their beds with dogs sleep better than those who don’t.

So if you’re looking for a way to get a better night’s sleep, cuddle up with your furry friend. He just might be the best sleeping partner you’ve ever had.

7. Why Dogs Should Sleep On Our Beds – Helps You Live Longer

It’s no secret that dog owners tend to be happier and healthier than those without furry friends. But did you know that your dog could actually help you live longer? Studies have shown that sleeping with a dog in your bed can decrease your risk of death by 33%.

So why is this? Well, for one thing, dogs can help reduce stress levels. And we all know how detrimental stress can be to our health. In fact, chronic stress has been linked to a whole host of health problems, including heart disease, obesity, and even cancer.

But it’s not just the emotional benefits of having a dog that can lead to a longer life. Dogs can also alert their owners to potential health hazards, such as a gas leak or a fire. And let’s not forget about the physical benefits of owning a dog. Walking your dog every day can help you stay fit and active, which are both important for longevity.

So if you’re looking for a way to add some extra years to your life, consider letting your dog sleep in your bed. It’s good for both of you!

  1. This was a super interesting read! I loved the article, and it’s just even more reasons for me to go get a dog. I do have concerns over potential sanitary issues from letting a dog sleep on the bed, especially since I like the dogs that shed quite a bit, such as Samoyeds and Golden Retrievers. Are there any potential downsides to letting a dog sleep on the bed?

  2. Hello and thank you for this blog on why dogs should sleep with us!  One thing that I have found with my dog sleeping with me is that it helps with my depression.  After a divorce that I was going through, I was deep in depression.  I hated sleeping a lone.  When I was at my sister’s house on vacation, one of her dogs would sleep with me and that was nice.
